For all: do you think christianity is more about ';health and beauty'; or about ';disease and ugliness';?

';Health and Beauty'; together is usually code for ';narcissism and shallowness';. So for those who see Christianity as a club to join rather than a rearrangement of life priorities, it's a good fit.

However, Jesus himself declared he did not come to ';save'; the well-respected and comfortable. He came for those who needed help. He sought out the poor, the sick and the unpopular, to heal and encourage, and he directed his followers to do the same.For all: do you think christianity is more about ';health and beauty'; or about ';disease and ugliness';?
health and beauty. But more as they pertain to the soul than the body.
You have missed ';falsehood and psychological threat';
It is more about faith.
Disease and ugliness are ultimately because this world is malfunctioning. We are all going to encounter some of this, but ultimately everyone hankers after wholeness and harmony. I don't think we're really going to see that on earth in our lifetimes. However if you have faith God can turn things around for you.

Saphir obviously lost her cool a bit there; there are some people here who deliberately set out to offend. I can understand people doing it if they have some grudge against God and that falls on human targets, as that is common, but just for some fun is rather shameful behaviour, I think.
not all christians,

but christianity as a whole faith/religion,

individuals are different

the latter, experience gives me my opinion, not just bias and bigotry, facts are what i use to determine a decision or opinion and facts go withthe latter
